Ear pop followed by hearing loss: what should I do?

About ten days ago at a local soccer tournament, I took a nasty hit right behind my left ear. Since then, my hearing in that ear has dropped by about 50%, and there’s this constant ringing. It happened once before, but back then there wasn't any ringing, and things started getting better after two weeks until my hearing finally snapped back to normal. This time, though, it's been over ten days and nothing has changed—no improvement, just the ringing.

Any idea what I might be dealing with?

If this doesn't clear up soon, I'm going to have to see a doctor once they get back from vacation...
