Benefits of zeolite?

Can anyone tell me about their experience with zeolite? What is it actually used for, what does it fight against, how do you take it, and what’s the dosage...?

Gotta ask my cat, since he’s the only one I know who uses zeolite—he'll probably wake me up at 3 AM to tell me. Basically, zeolite is the core ingredient (unless you want the fancy scented stuff) for making kitty litter. It's just there to soak up the waste; you just dump enough in the litter box. Pro tip: get the cheap stuff. The expensive, perfumed brands do the exact same thing. My cat doesn't seem to care about anything else in life besides peeing.

Used for:
• cleaning up radioactive waste (since they handle nuclear degradation like a champ),
• treating wastewater and sewage, because they pull out ammonia,
• scrubbing flue gases, since they can adsorb up to 300 mg of SO2 per 1 gram of zeolite,
• removing oil from water surfaces (using a pelletized mix of activated zeolite, expanded perlite, and other chemicals with a bulk volume of 0.5 g/cm3
which has an oil sorption capacity of 0.97 grams per gram, and this aggregate can float on water and absorb from the surface for over 200 hours).

...you just toss a bit of it right into the laundry detergent.
Your clothes would come out smelling incredibly clean.
