Something strange has been going on since yesterday. My blood pressure seems relatively fine, but my heart rate is stuck at 112 bpm. It won't budge. I feel like my chest is about to explode. On top of that, I have zero energy—none at all. I’m struggling just to type this; even holding my phone feels like a chore. I don't know what's happening, but I feel like I might collapse at any second.

I suppose you might be experiencing some tachycardia...

There are several potential triggers for tachycardia. You really need to rule out anemia and its various causes, check your thyroid levels, and keep an eye on your caffeine intake. It would also be wise to review any medications you're taking... either look into it yourself or list them here so we can help determine if they might be the culprit.

It might be worth getting your thyroid levels checked. I suspect this isn't just an anxiety disorder, because if it were, your heart would probably only race occasionally rather than all the time. Maybe you should get some blood work done too, just to rule out anemia. If you're dealing with tachycardia, you might also start feeling dizzy, lightheaded, short of breath, or like your heart is skipping beats in your chest.

I don't think this is just some anxiety disorder—if it were, your heart would only race occasionally, not all the damn time. Get a full blood panel done too, just to rule out anemia. If you're dealing with actual tachycardia, you could start feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or like your heart is literally jumping out of your chest. Plus, you might find yourself getting winded easily.

I'm with them on this one... honestly, it's probably just stress. And yeah, that's totally normal these days. Just go see a doctor, they can fix all this stuff. It’s basically the standard illness of modern life—our bodies just aren't built to handle all the constant crap life throws at us left and right.
