Can my ovaries (PCOS, if that matters) hurt from sex? It’s nothing intense, just this sensation deep inside when there's pressure on my lower abdomen.

Is it something I should worry about?

I would venture to suggest that what we are looking at is likely nothing more than a simple inflammation.
Yes, that is certainly a possibility.

Having endured the grueling reality of endometriosis myself—which, quite frankly, left me in absolute tears during my last two bouts—I find I am currently in a bit of a plateau. It would be prudent to schedule a checkup, if only to be certain.

If this pain is "standard" for her, much like the agony I endure, then there is no immediate cause for alarm; however, the circumstances that triggered such a reaction were far from trivial.

Well... I suppose I can. It seems like I'm always feeling this way, I guess. 🤷

I keep dealing with this nagging pain after sex even though I don't have any kind of infection 🙂

I get this nagging pain whenever I’m dealing with an infection. Or sometimes, after intimacy, there’s this intense discomfort where I can’t even tell if it’s my kidney or my ovary acting up—but the sensation feels identical to when I have a kidney issue. It usually happens after things get a little too 🙂. That said, when I’m actually fighting a gynecological infection or a bladder issue, some level of pressure or pain seems expected. I’ve learned that if you just pick the right position, you can manage it. Back in June, I dealt with a kidney infection caused by E. coli, and let me tell you, sex was absolutely miserable. But here is the truly bizarre part: my doctor actually suggested that for women over 30 who are sexually active, having chronic bladder infections or frequent kidney issues is basically "normal." Seriously? I have never heard anything like that in my life, and honestly, it sounds completely fishy to me.

p.s. I did mention that I’ve been dealing with some ovarian pain following intercourse, and I occasionally get a stinging sensation when I go to the bathroom
