That's just the sound of an incredibly insecure driver—someone who doesn't even believe in himself and is obsessed with how his driving looks to the crowd.
I guess everyone finally gets it now—how much of an absolute legend MS was. You never heard him spouting this kind of insecure nonsense. I'll never forget back at Imola 1996 when reporters asked him
"Are you feeling optimistic after that qualifying result?" —to which he just replied
"I'm not an optimist, nor a pessimist—I'm a realist" —with that smug little grin. Basically like, "Who cares about your questions, losers? I answered you perfectly, though." Total genius. Honestly, the sooner you realize his greatness, the better off you'll be.
Unlike Senna, who leaned more into this whole whining style we see from guys like Gutierrez, Grosjean, or Fernando Alonso.
