I was just reading some reports over on Motorsport, where both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen confirmed they actually went in to tweak the car's setup right before qualifying, hoping to squeeze out a little more pace. It’s pretty obvious, though, that they headed down a completely wrong path with those adjustments.

As a die-hard Ferrari fan, I’m officially calling it—after this race, any hope of a championship fight is dead to me. Honestly, if Renault actually manages to pump out an engine with 40 more horsepower than what we saw in Canada, I wouldn't be surprised if Red Bull leaves them in the dust entirely.

Here is the link for anyone who happens to be fluent in German:

Ferrari is basically a heavy bucket of bolts this year... honestly, we all saw that coming before the season even kicked off.
Of course, those of us who actually pay attention called it early—go ahead, give me some credit!

I just didn't quite expect Kimi to be consistently outclassing Sebastian Vettel in qualifying all season long...

Sebastian Vettel is definitely going through a massive crisis—both as a driver and, more importantly, as a person.

Maybe we'll find out why soon, or maybe it’ll take a few years once the folks back in Italy start throwing him under the bus.

Either way, he seems to have cracked way before his time driving for Propeta Ragu.

Regardless, whatever is happening with Vettel right now isn't doing any favors for his reputation as the flawless, top-tier driver of this generation.

Did he actually win those four titles, or was it Adrian Newey?
Seriously, this might be one of the dumber polls out there, but I’m asking the moderator to please turn my question into an official poll!

I'm personally looking forward to seeing that Hamilton-Rosberg rivalry reignite

Breaking through the Ferkan fight

The battle between Ricciardo-Vettel-Alonso

And Alonso fighting hard for those points

Honestly, anything could happen.

Poor Matijaca has been banned from getting anywhere near the Ferrari garages. If this continues, he’ll be barred from entering Italy altogether. Along with Vettel...

"Right now, we're sitting on the third-best chassis—that's backed up by our performance in the third sector here in Sochi. Only Mercedes and Red Bull are outperforming us at this stage; Ferrari, Williams, and Force India are all trailing behind." In fact, Alonso clocked a 29.198, which put him just four-tenths off Lewis Hamilton and a mere two-tenths behind Daniel Ricciardo.

Third fastest in sector three—sitting right behind Red Bull and Mercedes, but ahead of Ferrari.

That means McLaren definitely has a solid chassis on their hands.

I’m expecting them to pull off something big in Monaco.

In what year, precisely? 🙂

So, what's the deal with this tire pressure drama?
If I remember correctly, McLaren actually went to the FIA to complain about them being so obsessive with those insanely high starting pressures. They wanted the FIA to just bring them down to a normal level and monitor them throughout the race instead—which, honestly, sounds way more sane.

But Pirelli is out here claiming that two teams (one top-tier and one mid-field) found some clever way to game the system—basically hitting the required pressure at the start but then watching it drop off a cliff during the race.

As soon as you hear "two teams" and look at where they sit in the standings, everyone immediately jumps to Red Bull Racing and STR. But hey, it’s entirely possible Ferrari is the one playing games here.🤔
Ferrari is notoriously better on race day than they are in qualifying, so they could easily be the culprits. Or, maybe they just completely botched the setup this time and the tires are the real reason for that weird performance dip—assuming they didn't lose their edge after McLaren started whining to the officials.🤔

Are you seriously suggesting that McLaren has the third-best chassis on the grid? 😁
On average, they’re the slowest ones on the speed trap... which tells me they're running massive amounts of downforce.
Look at Manor—they absolutely fly on the speed trap, yet they’re the slowest of the bunch in the third sector. There’s your comparison right there.👍

And fast, too.

Exactly what she's looking for. Maybe he's just a little too young for her.

Look, if Presvetli was actually into that, he'd be backing Lewis Hamilton instead—he's also black, but he's definitely packing way more than some random Aussie with Italian roots. And we all know how much "equipment" Italians carry 😁😁😁 You can see it right there in the Ferrari. Especially when they die mid-formation lap. 😁😁😁

As long as Vettel's right foot is the one pinning the throttle, he's the guy who won everything!

It's easy to draw cars, and it's easy to talk shit from the pit wall—but actually sitting in the cockpit, slamming that damn pedal, and flying through Eau Rouge is a whole different beast. (Okay, maybe a bit less intense nowadays, but you get what I mean)

There's still a massive gap between those two jobs

driver

driver

A driver is a driver, and Newey is just some guy playing around with a pencil. An insanely talented guy—but still, just a guy with a pencil.
