So, imagine a highway dispatcher talking to a forest ranger—he tells him: "Look, I sit here all day like an idiot, staring at 20 different screens. My crew is three people plus six more assistants, it's sweltering, I can barely breathe, and I feel like I'm glowing in the dark from all this radiation... it sucks." And the ranger replies: "Man, out here in the woods, the air is pure, the weather is perfect, everything is blooming—it's heaven. Then suddenly, I feel something grab me by the balls, I turn around, and it's a freaking grizzly bear. Good luck with that."
In my book, thinking it's unhealthy to sit in front of a computer—or even worse, like those highway dispatchers, pilots, or someone working in a tech shop surrounded by electronics—is just ridiculous. Sure, a forest ranger or a boat skipper who isn't anywhere near any radiation sources is definitely gonna be healthier. Lesson learned: use what you actually need, and skip the rest. For example: I see there's a wireless printer available. Honestly, I can't even imagine a scenario where I'd actually *need* one. Since when did everyone become allergic to cables? Good grief. I'm not saying a printer signal is blasting enough radiation to kill you, but seriously—unnecessary is unnecessary. Why use something you don't need, especially if it might be bad for you? There's gadgets everywhere these days, and adding all that junk together isn't gonna improve anything—it's just gonna make things worse.
