I'm having a bit of trouble with my PC... When I power it up, the monitor just displays "no signal" and that little yellow light stays lit. Everything else remains completely black...

There’s just too much information to process here—it can get overwhelming. Have you tried wiggling the monitor cable? Sometimes it's just a loose connection. If that doesn't do anything, then there's a pretty good chance the graphics card is finally giving up the ghost...

Let's take a step back and start from square one. Could you list out your full system specs? Also, which version of Windows are you running? And have you tried tapping F8 while booting up to see if you can get into Safe Mode?

Windows 7. I can't seem to get into Safe Mode... and now it looks like my keyboard isn't responding either. Neither the keyboard nor the tower shows any signs of life

Maybe you should start by borrowing a graphics card from a friend or a neighbor just to rule that out? If it’s not the GPU, then based on what you’ve described—I'm thinking it might be a faulty motherboard. If you don't have any spare parts lying around to test with, honestly, your best bet is to take it to a local repair shop. It's pretty tough to troubleshoot hardware issues through a forum like this if the problem isn't just some software glitch.
