The Rock is a nice guy and all, but honestly, his comedy isn't quite hitting the level of a show like Scrubs

...it officially outpaced Spider-Man at the box office (though if you look at pure profitability, it beat Homecoming ages ago thanks to that much smaller budget) 🤣 I mean, just thinking about how Homecoming had to grind in theaters for three or four months just to scrape together those kinds of numbers, while Jumanji pulled it off in half the time with way less hype behind it.

It’s a solid enough movie if you just want to be entertained. The plot works, the casting is spot on, and the humor lands well enough.

My main gripe is how they included the shelter from the Robin Williams character (Alan), because logically, that shouldn't exist if the first Jumanji reset everything right before he entered the game.

Super fun movie. Honestly cracked me up a few times... Never thought I'd be praising the acting in a The Rock flick, but they really nailed those kids. Spent the whole time looking at the blonde girl instead of Jack Black.

It’s definitely watchable and had its moments of fun, but I have to admit the plot felt incredibly cliché. I'd give it a solid 5/10.

Surprisingly fun movie. I actually went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
The cast is spot on—everyone fits their roles perfectly. The humor has definitely leveled up, too. While the plot isn't exactly groundbreaking, the whole point is really just about the journey and the chaotic hijinks. In a sea of disastrous Hollywood remakes, this one actually turned out to be great.

To be honest, I expected this to be absolute garbage, but I suppose it might actually pass for decent. The cast is solid—perhaps even the first time seeing Jack Black and Kevin Hart without them being incredibly grating. While the plot feels pretty cliché, there’s a certain charm to it. I imagine gamers will pick up on all those old-school video game stereotypes they clearly threw in on purpose; it could have been more ambitious, but overall, it’s alright enough.

Pretty funny, though I just can't picture Kevin Hart in this role.

It’s actually a great movie—really fun, and honestly, it doesn't feel as forced or try-hard as most things you see these days.

I can't really remember the first Jumanji starring Robin Williams, so I can't make any fair comparisons.

Maybe they leaned into the clichés just to keep some connection to the original, but who knows.

Otherwise, it's predictable. Nothing special. It’ll probably land better with a younger crowd.

I’m honestly a bit stunned by how much people are actually watching this movie. To be fair, Blacko was the only one providing any real entertainment, mostly because he seemed to be trying to kick Hart out of the frame every chance he got. I just can't wrap my head around the guy, no matter how small he is. 🤣

I recently sat down to watch this, and I have to say, the movie caught me completely off guard.
I went in with zero expectations, yet I ended up being genuinely impressed by how well it turned out.
To be honest, I’ve never really been a fan of Jack Black, but he absolutely crushed it in this one.
I suspect that, by default, most gamers are going to find this quite enjoyable.
