coppermarlin14, please, just keep pushing forward. I am crossing my fingers for both of us, truly. 😉

Oh, thank you all so much for the encouragement😍! I’m actually aiming to get started in about two months. Since I stopped taking birth control just a month ago, I think it’s probably best to give my system about three months to fully clear out those hormones first. That gives me a nice two-month window before I dive in, which feels right. But honestly, I’m not really going to commit unless I can drop at least 20 pounds or so!😢
I actually know someone who loses weight like crazy during pregnancy—she gets so thin, almost frail—but then she gains it all back once the baby arrives. She eats so much, yet she barely touches anything throughout her entire pregnancy and ends up losing maybe 25 or 30 pounds. It’s truly incredible, really.

Oh, absolutely! And let's not forget to mention that once we’ve all managed to lose the baby weight, we should probably start a new thread dedicated specifically to pregnancy nutrition—you know, focusing on how to manage weight gain and dietary needs. We could use that space to share what we're eating and talk about any cravings or struggles we're facing along the way.
As for me, I honestly didn't have a bad experience at all during my first pregnancy; there weren't any rough days, and I didn't deal with any morning sickness whatsoever. It was actually quite easy!

coppermarlin14, you sure that carnivore diet is actually the move if you're trying to drop weight? I saw you mentioning it on another thread. Even if you manage to slim down, I'm worried you'll just pack it all back on three times over during pregnancy... and honestly, I haven't even started on my thoughts regarding how "healthy" that diet really is.🤷

Oh, don't worry, I don't plan on sticking to this for very long! If I'm lucky, maybe I can make it through seven days? Honestly, I doubt I'll even last that long. But I figured once I start seeing the scale move, I'll have more motivation to stay away from bread. That's really why I picked this—I swear, bread is my absolute weakness, even though I love it so much!😉
