Has anyone actually messed around with those Splendor colored contacts—you know, the ones that change your eye color? I saw a pack where you get 30 single-use lenses in one go, just for a day. Does anyone who’s actually bought them know what the damage is going to be on my wallet?

There’s no such thing as Splendor lenses.

You’re likely thinking of Ciba Vision.🙂

He’s got them two companies mixed up—just like me. I totally get why he's confused, though, because online, Splendor usually markets themselves in a way that makes everyone think they’re the ones actually manufacturing the lenses. Ciba Vision makes those monthly colored contacts, which are basically $67 colored lenses that completely change your eye color. But look, there are two different types: you’ve got the ones with that weird black circle in the middle—stay away from those, they look incredibly fake—and then there’s the other kind that doesn't have that ring, which actually looks decent. I ordered mine with a prescription, specifically requested them, and they should be arriving in about two weeks. Usually, if you need a prescription, you’re looking at a two to three-week wait for shipping. I’m not sure about the non-prescription ones, but the price seems to be the same. Even though these are monthly lenses, they can technically last up to three months if you aren't wearing them every single day. Cheers

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they actually charge you for those? Because I heard through the grapevine that the price tag on them is absolutely insane...
