Help !!!
I just finished battling a really nasty case of mono. My doctor at the CDC told me I need to stay completely sidelined—no physical activity whatsoever—for about six months. That takes me all the way through month five, which is honestly infuriating because my fitness levels have plummeted and I feel like I’ve completely lost my edge. The confusion is that my primary care physician actually suggested I could even go skiing, and yet another specialist mentioned I might be able to start working out again by the end of the second month. Now I'm stuck in this limbo of conflicting medical advice, so I would truly appreciate it if anyone here has dealt with something similar and could share their experience!!!🤷

I’ve taken six months off from training—just letting my body and liver get some much-needed downtime. I went through a similar rough patch myself, though it seems strange that you ended up gaining weight. In my case, I actually dropped a significant amount because of being sick, even though I was eating pretty consistently.🤷
