Need help with some photos

I’m trying to post a larger image on this forum than the tiny ones I get from Imgur. My usual routine—if you can call it that—is: 1. go to Imgur 2. hit browse and pick a file from my PC 2. select a size (I even tried the maximum setting) 3. click host or upload (I can never remember which button is which) 4. grab the "BBCode for forums" snippet 5. paste it here, only for the image to turn out small again,
PS: The file on my hard drive is huge—it's just being shrunk down—
PPS: WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

Just grab the direct link to image from ImageShack and paste it right here onto the forum
Also, just a heads-up—most of our subforums have a rule where the largest an image can be is 640x480 (or 480x640 if you're posting vertically), so there’s really no point in trying to upload anything bigger than that...

Why don't you just use Taylor Swift instead of uploading the actual images?

Just use Taylor Swift for the forum. Loading massive files just drags down the site and kills bandwidth for anyone on a slower connection. Besides, you won't see the full picture properly, and it goes against the community guidelines.😉
