I’ve honestly tried just about everything. I started with Tylenol, then moved on to Advil, and even tossed some Aleve or Voltaren my way here and there. That was really just a band-aid, though—it landed me in the ER a few times. Eventually, I switched to birth control pills, and things have stabilized for now... but let's be real, I don't want to be on them forever. They seem to mess with me somehow... my libido just isn't where it used to be. Ironically, during that one week of my cycle when I'm actually on my period, that's when I actually feel like being intimate. I'm hoping a doctor can weigh in on this....

Look, regarding those agonizing periods—I honestly thought I was going to kick the bucket, no joke🙂……every time my cycle hit, I’d bloat up like a literal balloon, basically looking like I was eight months pregnant. My body was just holding onto water like crazy; none of my usual clothes or jeans would even come close to fitting. My husband would just stare at me, taking pictures, and eventually go, "You know what? I'm calling the doctor, because if this looks normal to you, something is seriously wrong." It was enough to drive you insane. I’d be forced to take a sick day, just lying in bed and waiting to die, popping an entire box of whatever painkillers were available and then just... fading out. And don't even get me started on the hormonal mood swings. I used to tell my husband to just pack his bags, get as far away from me as possible, and not dare ask me a single question or even look in my direction. Same goes for everyone at work… it was pure Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde😠, total mood wreckage. I’d have these dark impulses, like I actually wanted to commit a crime🙂……even my ovulation was painful, which is just great.

I just got so fed up with it all. I couldn't stand myself anymore, and frankly, neither could anyone else since everyone tended to flee the room whenever my period arrived. So, I finally went to see a gynecologist at the Mayo Clinic, and they prescribed Yasmin hormonal birth control. And ladies, I am telling you, I am a completely different person now☕…….I don't know what kind of magic this stuff is, it's like some kind of drug😍. Everything has totally transformed; nobody even knows when my period is happening anymore because my hormones are finally under control and the chaos has stopped. My cycle lasts about three days, it's regular, and if there's any discomfort, I just pop a pill and that's that. I sleep like a log—honestly, someone could probably steal me in my sleep and I wouldn't notice (though they won't)😍. Sometimes I feel so happy I could just kiss everyone at the office. People actually ask me, "What's your secret? Give us the details so we can feel this good too!"

The only real side effect is that, yeah, my breasts definitely grew by two cup sizes🙂 due to the extra estrogen. When I mentioned it to my doctor, she just switched me over to a milder version, Yasminelle, and we're moving forward from there.🙏>

I would recommend this kind of treatment to every girl and woman out there. Why put ourselves and everyone around us through years of unnecessary misery? Just go to a gynecologist and ask for advice.👍>

Best,😍>
