About a year ago, I underwent a cranial decompression surgery, and honestly, I’m just desperate to find someone else who can share what they went through... Everything seems fine on paper right now, but I am still feeling these lingering effects—this constant tightness, aching around the incision site, those strange little pinching sensations, just all sorts of things... I really just need someone to tell me that this is actually normal. I went back for a follow-up MRI and the doctors insisted everything looks perfect, but I’m terrified I’m turning into a total hypochondriac... because I am seriously spiraling here!!!!!!:🙏

I went through the exact same thing about five years back—actually, I had to go in twice. Honestly, those sensations are just temporary side effects, but since we're talking about major brain surgery, it takes a while for everything to settle down. Don't sweat those surface-level pains; it's all part of the process and completely normal.

Well, alright then!!! That makes me feel a whole lot better. I guess my main question now is whether this actually lets up after a while, or if it’s just one of those things you have to learn to live with forever... I mean, there are days when I don't even notice it, but then there are other days where it really gets to me, and I get this weird sensation like I might lose my mind or something. I keep asking myself how long this lasts and if it ever truly stops... thanks. I know I'm complaining here, but you guys have already been through this twice over. I really hope everything is okay with you all now? In my case, I had a clear spot on my cerebellum. Oh, and one more thing—did you find yourselves sensitive to extreme heat or freezing cold temperatures? Or am I just losing it?????🤣

No, you’re definitely not crazy! I mean, I haven't had brain surgery or anything, but I was in a really bad car accident ages ago—major concussion, head trauma, stitches and all that stuff. And honestly, even now, whenever the weather shifts, I can feel this weird discomfort right where it happened. Sometimes if I press on it with my finger, there's even a little bit of pain.

It's the exact same for me as it is for you; that spot on my head is super sensitive to those temperature swings. (And honestly, at my age, I feel like everything is becoming sensitive to the weather 🙄!) 😉

Thanks. I guess everything’s sorted then... good luck to everyone out there dealing with those weird heads. Honestly, sometimes I feel like I'm just walking on clouds myself... cheers!!!!!!!!!🤷

If anyone's feeling low and just needs someone to listen, please don't hesitate to reach out... there's a lot going on in people's heads these days.
