I honestly don't even know what to do anymore, I am constantly overheating. Like, when I’m trying to sleep, my feet absolutely have to be bare and uncovered or I'll lose it, because I'm just simmering in my own skin. And don't even get me started on the summer—when it hits those 100-degree days, I swear I feel like I'm about to😵. Now, it’s mid-December and I’m out walking around in a sweater while everyone stares at me like I've lost my mind, but how am I supposed to throw on a heavy jacket when I'm already boiling alive? Help? Seriously, what do I do? Is it just me, or is anyone else dealing with this constant internal furnace? Is there some kind of cure to stop feeling like I'm melting? I know the topic sounds a bit ridiculous, but I'm actually going crazy here... when is it finally going to be cold enough for me?

You running a fever or something?
Personally, I’m not even feeling the heat, but I haven't touched a jacket in over two years. I just head out in long sleeves—sometimes layering short sleeves underneath—and I don't even own a sweater. It’s definitely not the norm, but I do what works for me. Plus, I haven't been sick once in the last two years, so why mess with a winning formula?

I'm with you there. Honestly, I'm just frozen solid—day and night.

And goodness, during the summer when it hits those 100-degree days, I feel like I might just 😵. Now, even in the middle of December, I find myself stepping outside in nothing but a sweater, and people give me such strange looks, but I simply can't bring myself to put on a jacket because I’m sweltering. Help? What should I do? Does anyone else go through this? Is there some sort of remedy to help lower my internal temperature? I know this sounds a bit silly, but I’m truly losing my mind here—when will it finally feel cool again?

You must be joking! Well, if you aren't, then I suspect the culprit might be an excess of "yang" foods in your diet. It is quite possible you're dealing with a racing heart or perhaps some digestive issues like constipation. If you try cutting back on meat, and especially salt and eggs, you might find some relief.
Another possibility is simply having too much energy. You need a good outlet for it; since you're likely still young, you probably have high stomach acid levels, which leads to a hyperactive metabolism where everything processes at a frantic pace. Honestly, you should be grateful for it, as most people struggle with the exact opposite condition. 😉

Everything else you said hits the mark, honestly, because there's nothing worse than being perpetually freezing or just feeling totally miserable when it's sweltering outside. Maybe if I actually cleaned up my diet—and yeah, Jerry Phillips2, I hear you, I really do—I might actually see some change, since let's be real, I am basically living on junk food at this point.

Karen Wilson20 said:All that holds up, but honestly, being freezing all the time sucks just as much as being overheated. Maybe if I actually fixed my diet—Jerry Phillips2, I’ll take your advice, because let's be real, I eat way too much junk food.

Seriously, let me know if it actually works. I’m dealing with this exact same "issue," and it's driving me absolutely insane. When I'm riding the subway, I'm freaking out from the heat—I'll be sitting there in just a button-down, rolling up my sleeves, while everyone else is bundled up in heavy winter coats. Same thing on the commuter train; everyone’s fully dressed for the tundra and I’m over here practically melting in my shirt, trying to fan myself every five seconds. People probably look at me like I'm some kind of burnout or something.🤣

I’m dealing with the exact same thing. Winter is easy—honestly, I couldn't care less what people think about my outfit when it’s freezing outside. It’s the summer that kills me. I can't stand the heat for anything.

Well, here we go then, Karen Brooks, Timothy Mitchell29, and Karen Wilson20.
I suppose you could all consider yourselves quite fortunate, though if that notion sits poorly with you, I’d suggest simply following the course of action I laid out earlier.

I envy you. My circulation is a total disaster. In the winter, I can barely feel my legs. It doesn't start working properly until around Easter.

On another note, does anyone know of any teas, pills, or supplements that actually help boost circulation? 😍

I’m definitely one of those people who is constantly running hot. 😢
Even during the dead of winter, I find myself heading out in short sleeves and just a light spring jacket. 😳

By the way, that advice about cutting back on meat doesn't work for me; if I skip it for even a few days, my hands start shaking like I’m going through withdrawal. 😁

even during the depths of winter when I find myself stepping outside wearing nothing but short sleeves and a light spring jacket, 😳

On a side note, that advice about cutting back on meat doesn't quite work for my constitution, because if I go even a few days without a proper serving, my hands actually start to tremble, almost as if I were going through withdrawal from some sort of heavy habit.😁

The idea is to reduce your meat intake; nobody ever suggested you stop eating it entirely. Honestly, I sometimes wonder if anyone actually reads what I write here.🙄
What I mean is, instead of eating a massive portion, maybe just aim for a smaller serving size per day.
It’s the same logic with eggs—rather than having two or three, try sticking to just one or two, and please, don't overdo it with the salt either. If you stay consistent, you'll see some pretty miraculous results after a few months.

Honestly, what good does eating just a few ounces of meat a day do for me? 😱
I need at least a half-pound, otherwise I'm just running on empty. 😁 😉

I need at least half a pound, otherwise I find myself feeling completely drained. 😁 😉

See, that’s exactly why you shouldn't be surprised when you notice your circulation is working just a little too well. 😲
