ho-ho, here we go! To the old guard—I just realized the combined number of kids, sons, and daughters of everyone attending this concert could probably fill an entire average American preschool! 😂 ) And to you younger folks, it seems you’re actually staying well-informed!
But you have no idea how long we’ve been waiting for a show like this in our beloved city.😉

I really thought the Depeche Mode + Twilight review would feel different this time because of the concert setup... but I was wrong. It was just boring. 😁

As for the band... honestly, let's just say they aren't my cup of tea. 😳

The turnout was pretty thin considering how cheap the tickets were... but then the drink prices were absolutely ridiculous (watered-down draft beer $5.00 🤮).

1. Well, if you go to these events all the time, it gets repetitive. It’s better to just pop in every few shows to keep it interesting 😁
2. The drinks are way too pricey—it's like they're serving tiny portions of cheap lager in miniature glasses 😢

Oh, and on a bright note, it was quite funny watching those young metalheads trying to headbang to EBM 😬) 👋

I don't go often, but every single time I've been there, the vibe was totally dark. Then again, maybe that's exactly how it's supposed to be. 🤷
I’m just as crazy as the rest of them. I’m expecting a wild atmosphere at the Gothic party. 🤣

I didn't even spot them... they must have been right there in the front row. 😁

I had an absolutely incredible time. My only real regret is that I missed the set by Grendel/Combichrist 🙂 🙏... I honestly loved everything they played both before and after the main show, and even the Phantom's floor caught me by surprise with tracks from Danse Society (who I've actually been begging to play for about three years now), along with Marionettes, Mizar, and others. It's a bit of a shame though, because since then my tastes have shifted mostly toward electronic music 🤣

I think Monofonik sounds amazing; I remember listening to them back during the after-party at the Control party in SC, though I have to admit the vocals and the lyrics don't quite click for me.

The concert itself was fantastic, and I actually think they sound much better live than they do on their studio recordings.

All in all, I am completely satisfied and I'm definitely looking for more like this 😵

P.S. A huge thank you to the DJ for playing those tracks in the hall during APB IN this together

That’s just how it goes, honestly. The crowd right up front was absolutely losing it, but everyone behind them seemed a little too chill for my liking—though, who knows, maybe I was just overthinking things.

That was such a blast! Pretty sure I pulled a few muscles though
