Terror in Santa Barbara

Does anyone know if there’s actually a decent gym in Santa Barbara, or maybe somewhere nearby? I can’t find a single thing online about it.😕

In Santa Barbara you've got two gyms, one right by Malibu, and then there's another one out in the Boulder area...

First off, you can just completely ignore all that advice regarding Boulder and Malibu.

You’ll find a gym in pretty much every single hotel in Santa Barbara, but if you actually want one worth your time, stick to the Wellness center (right across from the Admiral), the Admiral itself, or the 4 Santa Barbara Flowers locations.

Because nobody in their right mind is going to drive from Santa Barbara out to Boulder or over to Malibu.

Aha... okay, 🙂 I can get behind that logic... but he wasn't asking if people were commuting; he was just asking if there were any gyms located specifically within Santa Barbara, Boulder, or Malibu, so I just gave him the heads-up that they exist.🙂

Time for a quick update. Is there anything new regarding the gyms around here? Has anyone actually tried one yet? Any ratings?

I just passed by that wellness studio on the beachfront (that five-star resort). It was pathetic. Some guy was slamming himself into the glass on a cross-trainer—basically face-planting right into the sand. Tourists just stop and stare, licking their ice cream and watching people like they’re some kind of freak show in a zoo. A total circus. 😁

I mean, honestly, in a place like Santa Barbara, you can find a gym in almost every decent hotel you come across.

Honestly, a gym is just a gym. You guys are lucky. Around here, you really have to be careful about which one you pick. In one place, the bathrooms are disgusting, in another, the equipment is junk, then there's one with a terrible sauna, and in yet another, they yell at you if you make too much noise 😁 etc.

We'll see. Maybe I can find one without all the influencers, just plenty of heavy iron.
