What's the limit on private messages?

Seriously, you guys need to bump up the PM limit... man, my inbox is constantly maxed out. I’m having to clear it every couple of days just to breathe.🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

75 messages multiplied by every single member on this forum, and we’re just drowning in junk posts. The server is lagging anyway, so I honestly thought you guys would be more bothered by it. 😛

Yeah, we could definitely come up with something... for instance, what if the server's private message capacity was dynamic? Like, we could redistribute the PM slots between power users with massive inboxes and those who barely have any messages at all.
I'm not quite sure how to put this clearly 🤔
let me try an example...
Imagine some users who have empty or nearly empty inboxes being "virtually" assigned 150 message slots, even if they actually only have about 20 real messages sitting there. Those extra 130 slots (assuming a 150-message limit) would then be transferred over to users whose inboxes are almost completely full. If one of those users who had their surplus slots taken away eventually hits their actual limit—based on their real messages plus whatever shared capacity they currently have—the system would just pull more space from someone else with a mostly empty inbox to top them back up.

Honestly, I don't know if there's a better way to explain it... 🤔

Come on, give me a break...☕ Seventy-five is already way more than enough. Honestly, if I were calling the shots, I’d cap it at twenty-five. If your inbox starts getting cluttered, just clear out the old stuff; or, if you’re the type who gets sentimental about every single message, just save them to your hard drive as a .txt or .csv file... easier that way. If they really wanted to be generous, they should just bump the storage capacity to 1,000 messages, resize the avatars to a standard 200x200, and let us have signatures up to 1,500 characters—maybe even throw in some old-school Flash animations for good measure... let the server crash for all I care...
