Where can I download the English language pack for Vista?

If I’m remembering correctly, the update path is restricted to just the Ultimate and business versions, though I'm still sitting here wondering if they even bother to include the English language pack on that list.

Does anyone know if there's an English language pack available? I went looking for one earlier but came up empty—maybe I was just searching in the wrong place. I definitely don't want the local version; I need the English language pack instead.
(assuming I eventually make the jump over to Vista)

There is indeed an English language pack for both the 32-bit Ultimate and Enterprise editions of Vista, and you can grab it directly through the update page, though it’s a bit of a chunky download at about 250 MB 😕 so that should be everything you need; I haven't personally tested it since I don't actually run Vista myself. 🙂

Just ditch everything except the English language pack—honestly, the translation is so incredibly bad you can barely tell what you're doing on Windows

It wasn't an issue for me because I was used to the American interface and found it much easier to navigate... but if anyone happens to know anything useful...

The English language pack is available for both x86 and x64 versions, totaling 367 MB. Furthermore, most Windows Ultimate installations—whether x86 or x64—include the English language pack within the Automatic update settings. However, in both scenarios, an installation issue persists. The process reaches roughly one-third completion before it abruptly stops. An error code 2 is displayed.
