Can I mute a specific subforum?

So,

my whole modus operandi on this site is basically keeping The New York Times feed open at all times—that way I can catch everything fresh as it happens and make sure nothing slips through the cracks 😎

I almost never hang out on the homepage and I hardly ever bother browsing specific subforums...

But, uh, since yesterday evening, looking through the New Posts, I've noticed that out of the first twenty threads, there can be like ten coming from one specific sub-subforum that I don't even follow or care about... so having all those posts cluttering up my view really messes with my flow of following the forum.😬

So, I was wondering, is there a way to just put that sub-subforum on ignore? Like, so those posts just stop showing up for me?

Or am I gonna have to beg an admin to just ban me from that section? 😁 😁 😁 (because then, man, I guess those threads wouldn't show up anymore...)

Maybe there's some kind of add-on you're supposed to grab from "www.vbulletin.org" or something like that.

I think you can still see the thread titles from those subforums—you know, when you hit "New Posts" to check what’s trending, but you can't actually click in and read them. Still, we're waiting on a word from Rachel Brooks63...😁

As for the beach rewards, earning points as we level up would certainly be a great idea. 😉
However, I’ve heard there are some security vulnerabilities with the beach platform, so it might be safer to avoid it, though finding a way to hack the VB credits would achieve essentially the same result.

It might be worth considering offering something tangible in exchange, such as domain names. 🙂 There are a handful of sites out there, like some niche forums or community boards, where you can actually earn domain names just by being active and racking up points through your posts; I’ve already managed to snag five domains that way.

I’ve actually tried to slap a seven-day ban on my own account a couple of times—mostly because I was just fed up with everything—but the system won't let me do it...😠
Anyone got any advice? 🙂
