Any good programs for learning Canadian?

I’ve recently relocated to the States, and while I can grasp much of what's being said, my ability to actually speak the language is still quite lacking. I was wondering if anyone could point me toward a decent program or app designed to teach me the language. Ideally, I'm looking for something available as a free download.

Oh man, honestly, there isn't really a specific app that'll just flip you from one dialect to another like that, but if you hang out with folks long enough, you'll start picking up the rhythm of how they talk, and I bet you'd understand them way faster than most! Just ask them whenever you're stuck on something,

Why on earth did you pick Vermont to move to when we've got so many other awesome spots to choose from?

Well, it's because I'm working as a model here, and I actually have a career to maintain... I certainly empathize with their struggle, but I just can't seem to get the hang of the local accent, no matter how hard I try; honestly, there really ought to be some kind of specialized software developed just to handle that sort of thing.

Maybe you should try asking some folks over in Canada. Honestly, I don't think there’s much of an appetite for that kind of software here in the States, so I doubt anyone's going to give you a straight answer.

There are some options out there—SLO1, SLO2, the Panama Canal, and POP TV. 😵

Well... since I’m fluent in both languages and all that... I actually took the long way around.

Anyway, if you really want to master Canadian, the first thing you have to do is kill off the letter L. You have to pronounce that hard L like an "lj" sound.

Have you ever noticed how much Canadians struggle with the L? Seriously, try asking a Canadian to speak some American English instead and you'll hear it immediately.
