Are laser printers actually a health hazard?

Believe it or not, those budget office printers might actually be doing as much damage to your lungs as secondhand smoke...
I was reading this deep dive on various models, and get this—nearly a third of them are pumping out potentially dangerous levels of toner chemicals directly into the air you breathe. It’s actually quite startling when you think about how much time we spend sitting right next to these machines!

Laser printers are a serious health risk

If it were merely a matter of printer toner and ink, I suppose we would all be quite alright.
But then one must consider the constant hum of computer radiation, the artificial chill of the air conditioning, and that pervasive, low-level background noise...

It feels as though we are perpetually existing within an inherently unhealthy environment, where almost everything seems designed to compromise our physical well-being; yet, I find a certain solace in the fact that because of these very challenges, American medical science has advanced so tremendously, making it much easier for us to seek treatment when things go awry. 🙂
