I know there are tons of threads on PMS here, but nobody ever talks about leg pain.
For three days now, my legs have been absolutely killing me, and I know what's coming.
I’ve tried eating heaps of fruit and cutting out salt, but honestly, I’m at a loss.
Normally, I’m on my feet for 8 or 9 hours at work, then walk another hour on top of that, and I can usually handle it—but this? This is a different beast entirely.
It feels like my legs are filled with lead from the knees down; they aren't even swollen or anything, they just ache intensely.
When I get home, I take a bath and try elevating them, but nothing works. Usually, by the second day, things settle down.
But today, I've got a migraine too, so yeah, the "main event" is definitely tomorrow. I don't even bother tracking dates anymore because my body gives me all the warning signs I need.

I feel like I’ve seen it all...
For me, my pants fit perfectly when I first get dressed in the morning, but by the time evening rolls around, everything feels way too tight. Honestly, the absolute worst part is having to stand in one spot for too long, which is why I pretty much avoid any jeans with stretch in them lately.
My thighs and knees always seem so swollen, too—it almost looks like I have fluid buildup in my knees or something.
There really isn't a magic fix, I guess. When I asked my doctor what I could do to help myself, they just suggested cutting back on salt and getting more exercise.
They even gave Yasmine some birth control pills, thinking that might help things improve... but honestly, nothing has changed at all.
Are you absolutely sure it isn't related to your veins or circulation? I think I might be dealing with issues there too, along with my lymphatic system.

So, whenever I'm dealing with PMS, my veins just start aching and my legs get this weird, pulling sensation... it's so uncomfortable. It doesn't even happen every single month, though—it's kind of hit or miss. Like, one month it’s totally overwhelming and the next it's barely there? I honestly have no clue why the intensity fluctuates so much. And no, I don't really go overboard with anything specific regarding my diet or anything.

So, yeah, I finally got it today
but honestly, last night I thought my legs were actually going to give out on me.
Even just getting up to hit the bathroom was a total struggle.
I don't even have visible varicose veins or anything—at least that's what the doctor says.
My feet are still throbbing a little bit today, but all in all, the worst is over
and I should be fine by next month...
...any thoughts? Suggestions? Anything?
