So, did those Electric Light Orchestra guys actually get back to you? 🙂 Now Overflow is playing sets with them. And word on the street is that Electric Light Orchestra is actually showing up. Allegedly.

I have a feeling this Electric Light Orchestra thing is a total scam.
There isn't a single date listed on the band's official site, their Facebook page, DJ Tril's website, or even their European agency's site.
Back before their last European tour, the dates were posted across all four of those platforms two months in advance.

But then I found this interview with Phil—"The most rabid Beatles fans are in Liverpool, Austria, America—a huge group of American fans... normally New York and Los Angeles. A crew of guys drove up through the snow to make it to the show, and it was a wild night. I don't know why we strike a chord there. We started touring Post-Soviet states in the late '90s. They're definitely more reckless, more crazy dancing, and I think maybe it's because for such a long time they haven't had bands traveling there."

Honestly, as long as this specific thread remains the first and only informative result on Google for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, I find it hard to believe the event even exists at all.

Look, we're only ten days out now, and man, they really let themselves get caught in their own inertia.

Honestly, I wouldn't even complain about getting a ride back. I’m planning on just catching a bus from Maui down to San Diego anyway... But it’s only worth the trip if Electric Light Orchestra actually confirms they're showing up. If they don't, I'm staying put...
