About a month ago, I noticed these three little sores on my head. They cleared up after a few days, so I didn't think much of it at the time. But now they're back, and honestly, I'm freaking out that it might be something serious. I'm 17 and I've never even been sexually active, so I really don't think it's an STI. What do you guys think? Here are some photos of the spots!

I seriously do NOT want to know what's in those pictures
even if Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck showed up in person to tell me
Look, if you're actually worried, just go see a doctor

So what, are all the threads on this sub inappropriate now? Should everyone just go talk to a doctor instead? 😕

Oh no, don't take that quite so literally!

But honestly, posting photos of private areas feels a little... well, inappropriate for a public forum, don't you think?
In a situation like this, it's really hard for us to give any solid advice here.
You should definitely have a primary care doctor or a dermatologist take a look instead!

Why couldn't you just say it that way instead?

The way you put it was blunt and totally out of line.

Go ahead then, give him some gentle, helpful advice instead of us just messaging back and forth here!
Honestly, I can’t really offer anything more sensible than suggesting he see a doctor.
Unless, of course, he just goes and talks to his parents first.

Sophia Campbell, you should probably just see a doctor because you can't really diagnose stuff like this on a forum.

And please stop posting pictures. It’s inappropriate for a public forum like this.

My bad to everyone for dumping those photos here. I totally missed the forum rules, and looking back, I realize how stupid that was. I’ve been deep-diving online into every STD out there, but honestly, nothing I read compares to this mess I’m dealing with right now.
I think you guys get where I'm coming from—talking to my parents about this kind of stuff is just not happening. That’s why I came to this forum first; I needed the anonymity.

Go see a doctor immediately!!!!
It might be nothing, or it could be anything at all.
Since you haven't been sexually active, there is a possibility your blood sugar is running high—diabetes, perhaps? It can sometimes manifest as a genital infection, appearing as those small sores or blisters that seem to fade only to resurface again. Regardless of the cause, get to a physician RIGHT NOW.
