Man, what a mess!
Got hit hard by a stomach bug—fever, diarrhea, the whole nine yards—and then I went and made things worse by eating total junk I definitely should’ve avoided. Now I’m looking to reset and just take it one day at a time until my gut stops acting up. Does anyone know a solid "sick person" diet? I tried searching Google, but it’s all garbage—just endless lists of those ridiculous UN-style fad diets or some supermodel's "clean eating" nonsense...
Thanks!

rosehip tea
bananas
chicken
rice

The more it's boiled rather than grilled, the better. No seasoning, nothing like that...

the more boiled, the less grilled, zero seasoning and all that...

I've been sipping unsweetened rosehip tea... as for bananas, I wasn't totally sure, I mean I know they're fine, but I figured, you know, since they aren't cooked, I didn't want to make things even harder on my gut...😲

What about low-fat cottage cheese, hard-boiled eggs, stuff like that...?

Hmm, I wouldn't mess around with eggs. Honestly, once you try them, you'll realize pretty quickly 😁 how fast they hit you. 😳

Also, best to steer clear of cheese... just cut out anything fatty altogether.

You could do yogurt, for example... just nothing with fruit in it.

Ugh, okay, so I guess I can actually do more than just eat dry toast. Thanks for the heads up...
How much longer am I stuck doing this?

I mean, I was feeling awesome yesterday (only two days into recovery), so I went ahead and crushed some chicken stew, and then—bam—immediately felt like my gut was being ripped apart again. Back to square one. 🙄

Depends on how much you're willing to commit 😁

Most people say two weeks... 😳

Bottom line: hold out as long as you can. If you end up caving to some loser, just don't make it a habit. Just because you got lucky once doesn't mean it'll happen again. Hold your ground for as long as possible 😳
