I need to burn some movies onto DVDs for a buddy's player
I've got an old CD burner running Windows XP, but I ended up burning them as data DVDs and they won't play on any of the players... the files are all MP4 format
Need some quick help here, thanks

You might want to double-check if that DVD player actually supports MP4 files. A lot of those older models—mine included—just weren't built to handle that specific format. It’d probably be a good idea to head over to the manufacturer's website and see exactly what their specs say about file compatibility.

It isn't even working on my player
The specs say it supports MP3 and DivX
So I guess I should probably just convert everything to a different format, right?
Does anyone know which program actually works for this

I just downloaded ConvertXtoDVD, so let's see if that does the trick

The quality from ConvertXtoDVD is honestly pretty terrible, and on top of that, it actually split some of my movies into two separate parts instead of one cohesive file.

WinXtoDVD is a fantastic piece of software that delivers really impressive quality, though just like any other tool, you actually have to know how to work it properly. I’ve personally had some great results using it.
