Pimple on the genitals—for those who know what I mean

I’m wondering if it's possible to get a pimple on the inner labia caused by waxing as a reaction to the wax itself. About a month ago, I waxed my bikini area myself, getting quite close to that specific spot. After that, I tried using an epilator for the same area. While showering yesterday, I felt a small bump and checked it in the mirror; it was about 3mm. When I applied light pressure, a tiny bit of white pus came out. It has shrunk a little since then, but it still looks like an under-the-skin pimple. I can't squeeze anything else out of it now. It isn't painful, and the edges look normal rather than inflamed; the color matches the rest of the mucous membrane. I haven't had sexual intercourse, though I do masturbate occasionally through my clothes.
For the last three or four days, I've been showering twice a day. I should also mention that I wear thongs every single day and use daily liners. I recently switched my body wash, and I sometimes use scented toilet paper—once, I actually dealt with some itching because of scented toilet paper.
I have a boyfriend, and we will be becoming intimate very soon. I’m wondering if I should be worried about having something that I might accidentally pass on to him, even though we plan to use condoms.
Is there any reason to be concerned or to see a doctor? Or should I just wait a few days and see how the spot behaves?
Thanks in advance to everyone.
If anyone has experienced a similar change, please share your experience.
Or, if there happens to be a doctor on this forum who can help me.

I feel like I’ve probably touched on this in at least fifty different threads already—but here we go again😍: I actually had an ingrown hair once, though not from waxing, but from shaving. Now, you have to understand, I am a bit of a hypochondriac by nature, so I completely lost my cool! I was absolutely convinced it was some sort of wart or something equally terrifying. I ended up visiting my OB-GYN, who eventually put my mind at ease. She actually suggested that I could... well, poke it with a sterilized needle? But honestly, that sounded just plain foolish to me—I didn't want to make matters worse or start digging around, so I just let it be. It took a few months to clear up, but everything is fine now. Regardless, my advice is always to see a doctor; it doesn't cost you anything to get peace of mind.

As for the itching, it sounds like you might be a bit overly sensitive to certain things, so please, skip the scented toilet paper. And frankly, those daily liners aren't the smartest move either. If you absolutely must wear them, try to find the ones without any extra plastic film or fragrances, and definitely don't wear them overnight. Also, stick to cotton underwear and opt for breathable, loose-fitting clothing—avoid wearing tight leggings too often, if you can help it. Using a very mild cleanser might also help prevent the skin in that area from getting too dry. I won't drone on forever; I'm sure you can handle the rest, as you clearly aren't a child.

If you ask me, she really needs to stop wearing thongs.

You see, I experienced something very similar in my groin area a few months back. I ended up doing quite a bit of digging around myself trying to figure it out, and it lingered for a while before finally clearing up. Previously, I had noticed a similar change on my thigh, and at that time, my dermatologist explained it was likely just a lymph node reacting to some sort of minor infection.
I am truly grateful to everyone who reached out; knowing what you all have shared has put my mind at ease. It will pass, and honestly, I’ve always been a bit of a hypochondriac anyway😘. Thank you all so much.

Look, I don't want to freak you out, but...
there’s a good chance it’s just a standard pimple. But—and this is a big but—if it doesn't start drying up right away after you squeezed it, it's never too early to go see a gynecologist. Even if nothing is wrong, at least you can grab a prescription for birth control that you might end up needing soon anyway. The thing is, some stuff—like low-risk HPV or genital herpes—can actually be picked up from someone else's towel or even just skin contact. They show up differently for everyone, sometimes looking like tiny sores, little bumps, or warts. So, if it isn't clearing up fast, just head to the doctor.
P.S. It's most likely just a pimple, though—don't sweat it too much.

Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out because I am honestly feeling pretty desperate. I’ve never actually been to a gynecologist before, and the thought of going is terrifying, so I figured I’d try asking you guys here in hopes of some help...

So, on my genital area (just on the outer left side), these little bumps have popped up. They don't hurt or sting at all, but they itch like crazy. At first glance, it just looks like red patches with tiny little pimples inside them.
I don't have any discharge, nothing hurts, and everything seems fine when I go to the bathroom. My only issue is this intense itching, which happens in waves—it's definitely at its worst during the day...
Could anyone please recommend an over-the-counter cream or something similar? I'm seriously struggling here...

Thanks so much.

Honestly, you should just go see a doctor... I mean, sure, it could totally be nothing more than a simple pimple, but what if it isn't? You'll just end up sitting there spiraling, wondering what would have happened if you'd actually bothered to get checked out, so just go, it’s not like an appointment is going to break the bank or anything, and even if everything turns out fine, at least you'll finally have that peace of mind knowing it really was just a pimple.
