COOPERATIVE
HONORABLE SISTERS
NEVER SLAVES

I’ve got a feeling this is gonna be goodβ€”Never Slaves have been grinding away in some garage over in Oakland, and even though I haven't caught Cooperative live yet, I've always been a huge fan of theirs πŸŽ‰

The cooperative is such an incredible live band. I actually caught them playing at a venue in Austin maybe two or three years ago. They even used a chainsaw as part of the set! πŸ™‚ They seem to have leaned a bit more into the metal side of things lately compared to before, but honestly, I'm totally digging it...

Yeah, I was there tooβ€”they were playing live

And if they lean more into the metal side of things, it might actually be even better πŸ™‚

It’s a possibility, though I suspect the IEEE is far too small to justify starting such a fire.

The cooperative concert over in Gary, back when it was more than a year ago, was easily one of the best shows I’ve ever seen... somehow, I haven't caught them since. Maybe I should check back in if there's anything actually worth seeing on MTV.

Good grief, the cooperative!

πŸŽ‰

Man, I can't quite rememberβ€”how long has it actually been since that concert at IEEE? 😒

I bet you'll end up at the cooperative anywayβ€”between that Norwegian jazz show at the pub tonightβ€” EXPLODING CUSTOMER πŸ™‚

and then SCHNEE, some Austrian band I've never even heard of, though I guess I'll just wait for Chris to tell me what they're actually about.

The concert was on May 18thβ€”I know that date like the back of my hand. But as for the year... I can't quite say for sure.

(Wait, or did that happen at the IEEE? My brain is basically a sponge at this point. Not because it’s good at absorbing information, mind you, but more because it's just completely scattered.)

Drew Adams58 said:Maybe, but I doubt IEEE is big enough to warrant a whole scene.

If they could pull that stunt in New Canaan on a stage the size of a closet, they can definitely do it at IEEE. 😁

And thenβ€”just like some clichΓ© scene from a music videoβ€”the chain snaps right in your face...

I dug through the archives; it was 1999. 😱
They had a show the year before, back in 1998, where they only moved 32 tickets. But by '99, the place was packed.

A lifetime ago. 🧐

I remember being there, lugging Chris around just to grab a beer, and Stilica was around too...πŸ™‚

Hey, if you've finally moved past that last temper tantrum 😬 shoot me a DM. Let's grab a beer at the concert...
