Hey there,
First off, my bad if I’m dropping this in the wrong subforum, but basically I’m trying to figure out how to let someone stream from a PC to a TV via HDMI when they're in the same building, maybe like 50 feet away or something...
We already gave the Chromecast a shot and yeah, it technically works, but once you kick it into full-screen mode, the lag is just brutal and the response time is kind of trash...
So, I was wondering if anyone could point me toward a better setup using something like a Raspberry Pi or maybe an Arduino? The computer we need to connect to is running Windows 7, though it doesn't necessarily have to be a direct hardwired connection—we could probably just use TeamViewer or some other remote software if needed. Honestly, it doesn't need to be some high-end, top-of-the-line overkill solution, just something that won't feel as sluggish as the Chromecast did...
Thanks for any help...
