So, look, I’ve been wearing underwire bras forever, right? But lately, I’m getting this sharp, stabbing pain exactly where the wire ends on the outside—you know, right under the armpit area. I tried ditching them for a bit to see if that helped, but honestly, it still hurts like crazy in that specific spot even when I'm not wearing one. Aside from that little localized sting, my breasts feel totally fine otherwise. Is there any reason to actually freak out about this?

Probably not. Those kinds of twinges are usually just tied to your menstrual cycle. That said, you shouldn't just ignore it; feel free to ask your OB-GYN for a checkup and have them write you a referral for an ultrasound.

Did you check to see if that wire is sticking out? I wouldn't want it poking you or anything.😬

Ugh, I’m dealing with the exact same thing... It’s just like Angela Wright said, that constant cramping... It always seems to hit either two or three days before my period starts or right during ovulation... Honestly, I was getting pretty worried because that kind of cramping is just so uncomfortable...

It keeps happening to me with these bras I just bought—honestly, it’s such a headache. 😕

All my bras have underwire, too. My mom actually warned me that wearing them isn't the healthiest choice—she gave me a whole explanation, but I can't quite recall the specifics right now 🙂
and honestly, I think she might be onto something. Is it true that you should never buy a bra that's too tight? It’s just like buying jeans that are a size too small; they end up digging into your skin and messing with your midsection. I'm not sure, I really need to ask her again
