Indie Film Festival (RAF, March 25–31, 2007)

Mark your calendars! This Sunday, March 25th at 7:00 PM, the 6th Indie Film Review—RAF—kicks off at the Central theater on 4th Street!

We’re showing all the fan favorites from 2006 this Sunday, plus some brand-new stuff starting Monday... Catch the new Bruce Lee flick 'masked robber' Monday at 10:00 PM, and then we've got Zlatan Caklja on Wednesday!

Also, definitely check out the Polish festival films on Tuesday and the Trash Film Festival on Thursday. Totally worth it!

There's a bar open all day too! They've got a shop for books and DVDs, and we're doing coffee with RAF starting at noon, followed by an RAF presentation at 5:00 PM.

Swing by, it's gonna be a blast!

For those of you who live and breathe James Bond, I really think you should check out my indie film, marketing death 1. It’s playing this Thursday anytime after 5 PM—just a heads up, there are three films being shown as a set.

I mean, what does "marketing death" have to do with James Bond?
Maybe if it were "Live and Let Die—Marketing Death" or... I don't know, "Marketing Death Day Two"... that might actually make sense.

Well, I suppose I could have gone with something like "Never Say Marketing Until You've Died Twice at the Casino," but since this film is also serving as my final project for my marketing degree, I decided to stick with this title.

...tomorrow, Friday, March 30th, at 10:00 PM, we're watching Hearts of Aga, an indie film by Orson Welles—so, if anyone's actually curious, or just feels like...🙂

Does anyone happen to know about any other festivals—either here in the States or somewhere else globally—that operate similarly to the Indie Film Magazine back in the day? I'm talking about those spots where there's NO SELECTION process, you know? Just places that focus almost entirely on showcasing amateur, underground, or DIY works... I think I remember hearing about an A Fest over in the Midwest too, if I recall correctly right.
