Alright, I’m opening this one up for all the serious Formula 1 fans on here to jump in.

I want to see if we can map out the constant identity crises in this sport—tracking how teams have swapped names, owners, and entire personalities over the years. With factory teams constantly cycling back in, the branding changes have become a mess. Let’s try to document every major rebranding we can remember.
Calling on all the resident F1 historians to step up!

Here’s my mental list:

Jordan - Midland - Spyker

Tyrell - BAR - Honda

Stewart - Jaguar - Red Bull

Toleman - Benneton - Renault

Sauber - BMW (still known as BMW-Sauber)

Minardi - Torro Rosso

Ligier - Alain Prost (until they went under)

That’s all I’ve got for now. Your turn. Especially if anyone actually remembers the whole saga involving Arrows and Footwork.

Ford - Red Bull Racing

Tyrell - McLaren - General Motors

Of course—back when there wasn't a cap on the number of teams, outfits would just go belly up unless someone swooped in to buy them out and rebrand the whole thing... Right here is the data on every constructor that has ever competed in NASCAR.

edit: My bad, I wasn't reading closely—I see you already included those two...
