If you were to ask me which three films boast the absolute most powerhouse ensembles ever put to celluloid... I’d say you have to name the movie and then list the heavy hitters making up that cast...

1. Pulp Fiction: John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis
2. Howards End: Emma Thompson, Helena Bonham-Carter, Anthony Hopkins
3. Reservoir Dogs: Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Quentin Tarantino...

1. LOTR: Sean Astin, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Billy Boyd, Brad Dourif, Bernard Hill, Christopher Lee, Ian McKellen, Dominic Monaghan, Viggo Mortensen, John Noble, Miranda Otto, John Rhys-Davies, Andy Serkis, Liv Tyler, Karl Urban, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham, and Elijah Wood
2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley...
3. Ocean's Eleven: George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia
4. Legends of the Fall: Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Aidan Quinn, Julia Ormond, Henry Thomas...

These four were the first ones that popped into my head, though I'm sure there are better lineups out there.
But LOTR? That's number one, 100% deserved.

Well—I suppose one could argue that *The Usual Suspects* is actually quite brilliant—though I guess that’s a bit of an overstatement.

Magnolia (1999)
- William H. Macy, John C. Reilly, Philip Seymour Hoffman (this trio really needs Steve Buscemi to be complete), Julianna Moore, Tom Cruise, Alfred Molina, Luis Guzmán
Sin City
- Benicio Del Toro, Michael Clarke Duncan, Rutger Hauer, Michael Madsen, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis... and what an all-male cast this is!

I understand. However, he does have a few interesting films under his belt, such as your favorite, The Usual Suspects. 😬

It isn't really about the movies themselves—it’s more about how he's cited as being such a talented actor😬

There are some truly excellent films on this list. The Usual Suspects, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Snatch, Traffic, 21 Grams, and Sin City—they are all wonderful.

I am not suggesting—not even slightly—that he lacks quality films in his filmography, rather, I am positing that he is a subpar actor 😁 😁

I rarely judge an actor based solely on their roles. The quality of the acting usually mirrors the quality of the film itself.

The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)
Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Murray, Alec Baldwin, and of course, the comedic trio of Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson, and Owen Wilson.

Interestingly, Wes Anderson's films always seem to feature the best casts.

Goodness, The Royal Tenenbaums—I honestly couldn't even make it past the five-minute mark. Wes Anderson 🤮

That was actually the only one of his films I've seen. I really need to track down Rushmore and The Life Aquatic before I can give a proper opinion on him.

Rushmore is quite good—though I suppose the rest 🙈is somewhat
lacking.

Not trying to start anything, but what’s the deal with Benicio del Toro?😕

Grams: Naomi Watts, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro

...anyway, you get that same perfect trio energy in Boogie Nights . 😍

...and while Buscemi is a total genius, he’s part of a different legendary set: Buscemi - Goodman - John Turturro😍

I know 😍...there's also the dark side to it all.

I honestly wonder why Steve Buscemi wasn't in O Brother, Where Art Thou?..he was the only one missing.

It’s funny how the Wes Anderson brothers always seem to land the absolute best casts...

I'm with you on this one! 🙏
