So, I’m having a massive headache with my IBM drive. I’ve got some data on there that I moved over a few months ago—I actually formatted the whole thing right before putting the files on and just tucked it away in a drawer. As far as I can remember, the last time I plugged it in, everything was working perfectly fine.
Now, I try to hook it up to a buddy’s PC, and the computer won't recognize it at all... even though it shows up in the Device Manager. I went into Disk Management to see if I could make sense of it, but it’s showing up as a "dynamic disk," which seems weirdly off. There aren't any partitions listed, no drive size, nothing. It's just... blank.

I’m starting to think I’ve lost everything on there. Honestly, I have no clue how this even happened...

Right-clicking should pull up some kind of Populate option or maybe adding a letter... something like that to make it actually show up. Was the PC even powered down when you plugged that IBM into the case?

It’s been disconnected. Now there's nothing left on the screen except an option to convert it into a basic disk—but it's giving me that warning that everything on it will be wiped clean... which is the last thing I want to happen if there's actually still stuff sitting on there.

What about this External Drive Import thing?

So, I’ve got this cluster of foreign drives—just one drive in total—and they're showing up inside the Disc 0

But then I went ahead and downloaded Acronis partition software, and now it's telling me the whole thing is just some unallocated dynamic disc
