So, here’s the deal—my sister went in for a lung scan a few days ago, and they found this little spot, about the size of a pea. They actually ran the scans three separate times now, and it shows up every single time. The weirdest part? Two different doctors couldn't even tell you what they were looking at. They ruled out smoking, since that usually leaves deposits *on* the lungs rather than inside them, but still... I'm pretty freaked out. She’s heading back to the doctor tomorrow to get a referral for more testing. Does anyone know which hospital in the US is the top tier for pulmonary stuff? I want her seeing the absolute best specialists—not just some local clinic doctors who probably haven't seen anything like this in their entire careers. 😲 😲
Has anyone dealt with something like this before, or does anyone have a gut feeling about what it could be?
Thanks in advance for any help
