New Kids on the Block

Hey there. I was just wondering if anyone here happens to have that New Kids on the Block group? It brings back so many memories from when I was younger, and I'd really love to get my hands on it. Thanks!

They're a pretty decent group—honestly, they set a pretty high bar for what a boy band should be. You’ll still run into the occasional dud here and there, though. "Step by Step" is a total pop gem. 🙏

I was such a happy, easygoing kid. Then I turned into a withdrawn heavy metalhead (not so easygoing). I used to wash my hair before every single night out, and I hid New Kids on the Block in the shed.

I love Right Stuff because I first heard them in New York City... they were such a discovery for a young guy like me.

Tonight... tonight 🎉 🎉

They had such cute little bits—kind of that silly, childish energy you see in some old sitcoms. 😳

Oh, I still have their tapes. I remembered them last year and pulled them out just to reminisce. Me, my sister, the Barbie dolls, and Jordan. Step by step, uuh baby, gonna get to you girl. 😎

🙂 Hohohoh. That era was honestly wonderful. Just a pink world surrounding us kids.

Man, I still remember when my sister came home from school all hyped up, asking me—her little brother—"Did you see that sick New Kids on the Block sign in the courtyard?!?!" And I just looked at her like, "Yeah, the whole campus is covered in it, I guess everyone's just obsessed with some random soccer club or something" 😂 She didn't even talk to me for a week because she was so insulted I didn't know what it meant

Yeah, I always get this mental image of being back in 4th or 5th grade, when basically half the kids in class were rocking NKOTB t-shirts, and then we all went out and scored those legendary "New Kids under the Block" ones. 🙂

It really looks like they’re finally getting back together. 😁

New Kids on the Block to appear on the Today Show
It seems like the Today Show has the right stuff: All five original New Kids on the Block members – Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight – will appear on the Today Show on April 4, according to a source via PEOPLE.

Following months of rumors, PEOPLE confirmed in January that the band is reuniting—perfect timing to mark the 20th anniversary of their massive hit album Hangin' Tough. The group also just gave their website, nkotb.com, a fresh update.

The boy band, which had millions of fans swooning back in the early '90s and moved over 50 million albums, was a global sensation before they went their separate ways in 1994. Since then, the eldest, Jonathan Knight, 39, headed back to Boston to focus on real estate development. Meanwhile, Wahlberg, 38, and McIntyre, 35, found success in acting, Wood, 38, has been busy producing music, and Jordan Knight, 37, has kept his solo music career going.
