The best part about this whole situation is seeing the Spaniards go up against the Germans.
I’m honestly hoping the Romanians pull it off, if only so the Germans get a taste of their own medicine after that arrogant mess with the organization and ticket sales.
Besides, I think we might actually have an easier path playing against the Romanians—let's just let Dominique off the leash... assuming we can actually get past the French first, of course.😉

At the end of the day, pastor basically said that once we hit the quarterfinals, "it’s a whole new World Cup" and he was pumped with how his guys played against the US, claiming "we proved we can go toe-to-toe with them."

Seriously, hats off to him. I mean, you really have to feel good about yourself when, after a halftime where you're up by just five, you pull off a tactical masterclass like that to absolutely steamroll the Germans.

The coach knows they're heading home the day after tomorrow.
Against the Germans, nothing but a miracle is going to save them. Maybe a visit to Saint James in Santiago de Compostela?
Otherwise... our guys played their best half of this World Cup in the second.
Way too good for the Spaniards.
Chema Rodriguez has been playing terribly in this World Cup, so today the coach tried slotting in R. Entrerrios or Romer at the wing, but it just isn't working.
In the second half, we tore right through Hombrados, and there wasn't a single Spanish counter to be seen. Without those, they can't beat anyone. Their positional play is absolute shit. It's been that way for years.
Against the Germans, nothing but a miracle is going to save them. Maybe a visit to Saint James in Santiago de Compostela?

I mean, honestly? I’d be totally fine saying our guys played the absolute best ball of the whole World Cup during that second half. It felt like they walked onto the court at the start with this weird vibe, almost like they were just going through the motions or trying to set up a specific outcome, right? But then halftime hits, they look at each other, and it’s like, "Screw it, let’s just go all out!" :-) And man, they played just enough grit and heart to shut down those guys from Chicago right when it mattered most.

Man, it would’ve been embarrassing to let those guys beat us in front of our fans.
It also would’ve been a disservice to Alilović, who played the game of his life.
I just wanted to say that once we hit even ground, it was obvious who was in control. We looked much better in the second half.

those guys couldn't win anything in their own backyard, and even then, only if they made sure not a single one of our fans showed up to tear their whole squad apart! But honestly, even that wouldn't be enough for them, because Lino’s got eyes on them and he'd shut them down in a heartbeat

It’s like everyone just forgets that the Spaniards played this entire game without their two heavy hitters... I mean, how does it work out so they get to rest their stars while we’re expected to run our guys into the ground? We’ve never had such a packed schedule in our lives. Honestly, it feels like Lino doesn't even have a real game plan for managing the rotation... He should be resting them now so we could actually clinch some wins and put together a massive 10-game winning streak instead...

Regarding this topic, I am honestly at a loss for words. Lino has managed to leave everyone completely bewildered, myself included 🙂 He likely knows exactly what he’s doing. If I were coaching, I would probably pull an unexpected move and target a tougher opponent while having a roster like this. If we are factoring in fatigue, it makes more sense to tackle the heavy hitters now while you still have the energy, leaving the easier matchups for later when the tank is running low. My only fear is that overcalculating often leads to miscalculation—and we could end up seeing a massive upset where the Americans walk away with the gold 🙄

(First half) Honestly, the scoreline would look even more lopsided if it weren't for the goalkeeper, Alilovica— who basically acts as the designated water boy for the starting keeper, Saric, over at Ademar. 🤣
Then you have Igor Vori—what a lethal pivot! He plays a thousand times better for his national team than he does for Barcelona, where he looks like he has zero motivation while wearing that half-Harlequin-patterned ( 😠 ) jersey.
Good grief, they actually think the checkerboard pattern is some kind of circus act! 🙂

They don't actually think we're some carefree circus; it's just that this generation has been nursing deep-seated complexes for ages, and since they can't fix them, they just vent into the void. If those clowns want to come knocking, they'll get smacked three times over if necessary...
Besides, Mirko is a long way from being a water boy at Ademar. He’s putting up solid minutes and boasts a better shooting percentage than Saric... They're just talking nonsense now; first they blame Alilovica, then yesterday it was the ref, and the day before that it was something else entirely...
