I am facing a rather frustrating issue. For years, I dealt with that annoying white discharge, but since giving birth, that has completely stopped. My pelvic health seems perfectly normal, my bacterial cultures come back clear, and even my gynecologist is stumped. Every single month, about ten days after my period ends, I experience this dark brown spotting. My doctor suggested it might be due to hormonal fluctuations and proposed prescribing some hormone therapy or birth control, but I find the idea of starting hormones and contraceptives quite absurd when she isn't even certain that my hormones are actually out of balance. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation, and more importantly, how did you resolve it?🙏

If they’re trying to tell you it’s just a "hormone thing," honestly, do yourself a favor and tell them to send you for some actual bloodwork first... I mean, how can anyone even think about prescribing pills without knowing what your hormone levels actually look like??? It's like trying to fix a car engine without ever opening the hood. My advice? Just find a new OBGYN.

I find it equally baffling that they’d prescribe birth control without providing a precise diagnosis first. It isn't that hormonal contraceptives are inherently harmful, nor are they particularly expensive, but the real issue is whether they will actually address your specific needs—and more importantly, does it even make sense to start them if you aren't interested in taking them? I would strongly suggest asking for a definitive diagnosis of your condition. If your OB-GYN starts acting like a chef who prescribes a whole meal based on nothing more than a "maybe," then it might be time to find a new doctor. You have plenty of options out there, and you could easily see a different specialist every month of the year if you wanted to.

I posted about my CA-125 levels, please take a look.
I am asking anyone who has dealt with an elevated CA-125 (mine was 55.50) to share their experience.
Does this necessarily mean the issue is strictly related to the ovaries?
My last period didn't even fully finish; I thought it was over, but since I had some intermittent spotting, I went in for a checkup.
I have a cyst on my ovary (42x33), and I'm currently taking Primolut Nor-5 to regulate my cycle. Once this passes, I intend to have my CA-125 retested along with another pelvic ultrasound.
I am not experiencing any pain.

I always deal with this brown discharge for a few days right after my period ends. Usually, the actual bleeding only lasts about three days, and then I'm just left with this brownish spotting😕
All my test results have come back perfectly normal
