Is it gonorrhea? :-/

So, about three months ago, this abdominal pain started creeping up on me, and lately, it’s been hitting almost every single day... honestly, it feels less like sharp pain and more like those dull uterine cramps you get during your period, just way milder. More like this constant, nagging discomfort sitting low in my pelvis. To make things even weirder, I recently noticed some yellowish-green discharge 😠 ... plus, my last period was a whopping 20 days late...
I’ve got an appointment with my OB-GYN this Monday because, let’s face it, this isn't funny anymore.
The thing is, all these symptoms are screaming gonorrhea at me 👎 but I haven't actually had sex in like seven months. Back when I was active, it was with my ex, and before me, he’d only ever been with one other girl... so I highly doubt I picked anything up from him. I did see someone else after him, but we didn't go all the way... though I guess it's technically possible to catch an STI anyway 😠 But whatever, how it happened or who it came from doesn't really matter right now. What’s eating at me is the thought that if I’ve been dealing with this pain for three whole months, then God knows how far this infection has spread by now 👎
Does anyone know if getting tested for STIs at a clinic costs extra? Just trying to figure out how much cash I need to have ready 😬
I actually went ahead and got tested for Hepatitis and HIV recently just to be safe, and everything came back clean. I wouldn't call myself promiscuous or anything, but that’s irrelevant—you can basically pick up an STD from anyone, really.
What do you guys think 🙄 maybe I'm totally overthinking this and it's just some random inflammation... or a cyst... or something... I don't even know...
I know my doctor will probably clear everything up on Monday (or whenever the lab results finally drop)... but I am spiraling here. I can't believe this is happening to me 😠 and I'm mostly freaking out because I've been dragging this pain around for three months, which means I might have seriously messed myself up 😠

Honestly, I think it’s just pure paranoia... I’ve totally spiraled before thinking I was pregnant when my period wasn't even late yet, let alone needing a test...

Just hang tight until you see the doctor and let them check you out. Don't stress about it until then. 😉

Forget gonorrhea! You clearly have a nasty infection. Honestly, I don't get why you waited this long to do something about it.👎 Even if it isn't gonorrhea, it doesn't mean it isn't doing damage! And stop stressing about the money; that's what savings are for—taking care of your health. You probably won't even have to pay out of pocket. The nurse will likely take swabs and send them off to the lab for you.
