Skiing at Mount Rainier

Does anyone know if the Red Run is actually open for skiing now that the Snow Queen race is over? I’m dying to get out there, but I checked the official website and there's absolutely zero mention of it.

Where on earth would you go to hike Mount Rainier? The trail is an absolute disaster!

Hmm... I’m not sure if you caught the news, but apparently a day pass is $67Ice Ice Baby!! My dad was just telling me about it earlier today, and honestly, I can hardly wrap my head around the fact that it’s nearly thirty bucks... at those prices, you might as well just hop in your car and drive over to the local pharmacy or wherever you're headed 😉

You can't even get out there and ski anymore; I was watching the coverage on TV, and it honestly looks like they’ve rigged the whole scene just for the elite... it feels like these pro skiers have all this massive corporate sponsorship and deep pockets, so unless there’s a massive natural snowstorm, they’re just going to squeeze you for every cent you have $67 🙂

They told me it’s impossible because the snow is melting due to the warmer weather. 😢

Thanks, I actually just went down a rabbit hole online reading about this. I had no clue prices were going to be that insane! But honestly, whatever, we'll just hang tight and wait for the first big snowstorm to hit.

They actually dropped the ticket prices after everyone started complaining... Thank God, because seriously, what kind of person would pay those crazy rates just to hit those two trails up there? $67 😲

The daily pass stays at $23, yet they went ahead and hiked the annual rate by a whopping 200%... I think it used to be $227, but now it’s probably closer to $667 or even more.
