Quick gynecological question

So, I was at the clinic getting my HPV swab done, and when the doctor went in, she noticed some blood on the swab from my cervix... she mentioned it wasn't exactly ideal. My HPV results actually came back negative just seven days ago, which was a relief, but then this happened. I was a bit spooked because I noticed a few drops of blood on my underwear today—something that has never happened to me outside of my period. And I still have about ten days left until my cycle starts. My Pap smear from six months ago was perfectly fine... and my Chlamydia tests were negative after treatment—I even went back and double-checked twice, since I’d heard it can sometimes lay dormant. I honestly don't know where I could have caught it again, considering my boyfriend and I have been using condoms consistently for two years now. I haven't had any other bacterial issues either—no mycoplasma or ureaplasma... Recently, though, my doctor was treating me for vaginitis caused by Gardner, and it absolutely wrecked my immune system... the inflammation was so intense that my thighs were actually aching. Is it possible for bleeding to occur because of bacterial vaginitis? I should mention that I finished my treatment just a couple of days ago, but this little incident today really threw me off balance... so I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else has dealt with breakthrough bleeding? I'd love some advice from the more experienced women here on what my next steps should be. Thank you...

You can get spotting during ovulation, too. Check your calendar to see if you're halfway through your cycle; if you are, that's likely your culprit.

But I've been on birth control for two years now, so there isn't any ovulation happening... which is why I'm so worried. There was blood on the swab, and then more ten days later... something that has just never happened before. My doctor will probably insist on more cervical swabs because of this bleeding—she maintains that random spotting from the cervix isn't "normal"—but honestly, I can't justify paying for those tests all over again. Everything came back negative, except for Chlamydia, which I mentioned... though after being treated twice, it has tested negative for an entire year now. 🙄 It seems highly improbable that I would get a false positive at two different clinics within such a short timeframe... 😕 I wonder if the Clindamycin cream could be causing the bleeding? I used to feel so guilty every single time my doctor would take a Pap smear, mostly because she’d insist on using her own specific set of brushes, claiming they provided a much more thorough sample... So, I actually deal with spotting right in the middle of my cycle, even though I'm on the pill...
Sometimes my period even shows up a week early. If my OB-GYN says I need to redo the tests, I'll do them, but man, it's still a total panic moment. 😉

That’s actually where I am right now, since it happened to me a few times.
If you aren't even on the pill, this kind of bleeding can happen during ovulation.

So... I finally figured out why I’ve been bleeding... turns out—and this is just devastating to process—it was all because of some botched treatment and poor gynecological care that led to chronic fungal inflammation... which has actually spread to my cervix. That explains the bleeding... finally. My first round of medication managed to stop the bleeding itself... but I still have more to go through since you can't exactly wipe out a chronic Candida infection overnight... though my doctor did tell me I’m finally on the right track. At last...

Honestly, there’s really no need for more testing right now... years ago, everything came back negative except for one single bacterium—which I eventually cleared up, and after two follow-up tests, it was gone for good... since then, nothing else has surfaced, so I feel like rushing into more swabs out of sheer panic would be pointless. Unless, of course, some new bacteria decided to show up by some divine intervention...

I mean, shouldn't it be obvious just by looking at it?
Maybe I'm off base here, but I've dealt with enough Candida cases to know what I'm talking about...

She likely knew because the discharge from a yeast infection is so distinct—that thick, white, cottage cheese texture—and it has a very specific scent. This woman isn't an OB/GYN, she specializes more in general infections, so she knows exactly what she's seeing—though honestly, any gynecologist really ought to recognize it too. As for it being an STI? There is absolutely no way.

Look, it’s totally normal to experience some bleeding. We’re talking about a really sensitive area here—it's incredibly easy for a capillary to burst or for the skin to get nicked or irritated...

It’s actually quite possible for spotting to happen because of a little hormonal imbalance, even if you're staying consistent with your birth control pills!
Or, it could be related to something like PCOS too.
There are probably plenty of other reasons behind it, so please don't panic—it doesn't necessarily mean anything scary is going on!
