For me, it’s basically like this
pure panic mixed with a massive adrenaline spike. I'm just constantly on edge, ready to fight my way out of anything. It feels like I've got 300 horsepower running through my veins at all times.

By the way, have you ever tried, I don't know, weed? Could you walk me through what that was actually like for you?
Does it make everything feel worse, or does it actually help you chill out?

Thanks.

I’ve actually dealt with this sensation for years, and I even went to see a specialist for some cardiac testing—including an echocardiogram and a Holter monitor—but now it just comes back every once in a while, and what really haunts me is that feeling of being completely unable to catch my breath... I honestly have no idea what it could be.

Get a grip, seriously—maybe go see a therapist or something. You’d probably find plenty of people there who think just like you do!

Maybe it’s not even a panic attack.
I know that anxiety feeling all too well—it hits me like a freight train every single month, usually about three days before my period starts 🙂

Alright, anxiety—there’s probably a million different threads about this topic on every psych forum out there, if you even bother to look

What if it’s an arrhythmia? You should probably get an EKG done

You absolutely have to get those medical checkups done first. Once you’ve sat in the doctor's office and they confirm everything is perfectly fine, that's when the real panic attacks start hitting you—and I'm speaking from firsthand experience here. In those exact moments, the sheer anxiety causes your blood pressure to spike through the roof!😎

Yeah, it actually happened to me once during a lecture... my heart started racing—way faster than when you finish a sprint and just stop suddenly—anyway... I just stood up and kept walking and walking, until I felt hot even against the cold tiles (since I’d stepped onto the floor in the meantime), which helped cool me down and made things better. It hasn't happened again. Honestly, I was terrified I was having a heart attack because my arm went numb for a second... My diagnosis? Just panic plus way too much caffeine...
