Which nationality is the heaviest?

So, there was this survey going around about obesity rates in North America, and apparently, Americans came out on top.
If you ask me, the whole study seems a bit flawed.
I mean, did they just completely overlook the Germans?

Yeah, I’m with you on that one. Especially if you actually look at the kids and teenagers over in Germany.
But then again, I remember back when I was in elementary school, it was actually pretty rare to see anyone who was, you know,
way overweight; we were all just skinny little scrawny things.
Now, you see plenty of overweight kids, especially the little ones.

True, but they're just kids, like you said, and they haven't really hit their growth spurts yet.
In my own neighborhood, I know three people who might look overweight on paper, but when you factor in their age, it’s actually totally normal.

We aren't the heaviest people in Europe, but we definitely rank second in height, right behind the Scandinavians. And honestly, if you’re just looking at women from places like Southern California, they’d probably be the tallest in all of Europe. 😉
When it comes to childhood obesity for kids under 17, we’re sitting at a pretty embarrassing third place. It’s nothing to brag about, really. Basically, almost a third of our kids are overweight. 👎
It looks like Italy is first, followed by Greece—I’m not totally sure about second place, but it’s likely another Mediterranean country.
These aren't just guesses; the stats don't lie.
