I’m looking for anyone who might have heard of or knows about alternative cancer treatments. If you have any leads, please speak up.

A close friend was just diagnosed, and things aren't looking great. The family is willing to try absolutely anything at this point. So, if you know something, write it down.

Your info might be the one thing that makes a difference.

I’ve actually heard about two different options, though I haven't reached out to them personally yet. The first one is Komarov, who has an office out in the suburbs, and then there's this other practitioner, a Ruskin, who supposedly managed to help the head of the Alcohol Institute when everyone else had basically given up on him—she even helped Janez Janša, if that's true. I have phone numbers for both of them, so if it's okay to share stuff like that here, I could leave them for you.

The real issue is we still don't know the specific type of tumor—all we know is that it's malignant. Surgery didn't manage to get all of it out.

Where was the tumor located, and what kind of symptoms did he experience?

There are so many emerging methods being tested right now, though unfortunately, they likely won't reach us here in America anytime soon...

I’ve heard that aloe vera—specifically some kind of special tonic made from it—has really helped people during their recovery.
I also read about these specific herbal blends that can help out too (if I remember correctly, it involves calendula, lovage, celandine, and St. John's wort). Apparently, even Swedish dwarf birch helps.
If you actually want me to look into this for you, just let me know exactly what we're talking about.
But honestly? A healthy lifestyle, sticking to a super disciplined macrobiotic diet, and just keeping a positive attitude usually does the trick.

The tumor is sitting right between the heart and the lungs.
Surgeons managed to remove a portion of it, but we’re still waiting on the pathology reports. They've already told us it's malignant, though. He’s currently in the ICU.
Since they haven't pinpointed the specific type of cancer yet, there's no word on the next steps—whether it'll be chemo, radiation, or something else.

It all started after a routine checkup back in September. Everything looked fine except for one shadow on his lung scan. They sent him straight to the hospital for more testing. His blood work and everything else came back perfectly normal. The only red flag was a mild cough that lingered for about a month.
He’s never had any health issues before this.

Maybe try praying for once.
And for heaven's sake, tell them to quit smoking.

There's already been plenty of discussion on this board about just about everything, including alternative options. Take a look, and definitely pay attention to what lepine went through.

If it’s not too much trouble, please describe the patient and their current status—keeping all personal identifiers private, of course. It would also be helpful to know if the pathology report is back, or if an intraoperative analysis was performed, which might require asking the surgeon... and how they are faring in the ICU... just if it isn't a problem...

I’m currently taking Megamin. It’s been great so far, especially since I finished my chemotherapy two months ago. During my treatment, I stuck to drinking aloe vera. I’ve also heard some buzz about Noni being excellent—anyone have thoughts?
