Hello,

I've been dealing with high prolactin levels for about five years now, seeing specialists here in the States, yet I just can't seem to get those numbers down... I'm currently taking my medication three times a day, but the levels still fluctuate quite a bit without any real stability.

I've been spending some time searching online to try and understand what might be causing these constant shifts in my results...

If anyone happens to have any insight or experience with this, I would truly appreciate your thoughts...

Thank you,

Hey!
Just wanted to share something from a fellow member of my high-prolactin support group 😎
I was dealing with high prolactin levels, so I worked it out with my endocrinologist to spend a few days at the hospital for some full testing. They did a CT scan of my pituitary gland and spotted a little spot... then I went to get an MRI in NYC and that was the end of my diagnostic journey 🙏 they found a 3 mm microadenoma on my pituitary. I was prescribed Bromocriptine—started at one pill three times a day, then moved to twice a day, and now I'm down to once a day. My period has been acting up again lately, which has me a bit worried, so I’m planning to head back soon for more hormone testing to see where things stand.
I'm assuming you're a woman? 😉 Have you ever given birth? Prolactin can really mess with getting pregnant.
