Look, sure, you could argue every bout is a challenge match, but look at what I'm actually trying to discuss here! I'm talking about underground, unsanctioned fights, not professional MMA bouts. This isn't the right place for that kind of talk 😛
And honestly, nothing has been proven regarding this specific fight, because we're talking about Hughes, an undefeated UFC champion for five years who is fundamentally a grappler 😛
My intention isn't even to highlight the Gracie lineage specifically, but rather the effectiveness of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other grappling arts in general, which means the Sudo - Gracia matchup actually supports my argument again. Sudo is easily one of the elite grapplers out there 😛
