Men Peach Pit was absolutely brilliant. 🙏
If I had watched them just a year ago, I probably would have dismissed them as total garbage, but I suppose as I get older, my tastes become increasingly pretentious. 😬
And as for Makazoruk, I’m honestly at a loss for words. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 etc...

Total cosmic vibes, Makazoruk 😲 🙏 🙏 🤷 absolutely stunning, I’m speechless, the vocals are incredible 😠 ... totally crushed it on "Eskimo Girl" 😍 then went even harder on "Kerosene" 😍 wow.

The group was a bit rowdy last night—honestly, you can't expect much from playing Guitar Hero in a room full of those hyper-stylized anime girls. The Peach Pit deals were a total steal, though I wasn't particularly impressed by the Makazoruks. The highlight of the evening was definitely Ethan Bailey5 almost getting flattened by a bus while grabbing some donuts.

The guitar was way too loud for my taste during the set 🙏—honestly, I didn't even realize how much it was bothering me until we finally walked out of the venue in Austin after they finished their set 😵

My friend dropped by and mentioned everyone had an amazing time, and that Makazoruk was definitely the star of the show
She seemed genuinely thrilled about it, too

I was in an absolutely foul mood thanks to some incredibly stupid nonsense 😢 so I ended up just catching everything from a distance; I simply didn't have the energy to push my way into the crowd. Personally, I prefer Seven even more in that last lineup they had at the embankment. Peach Pit remains one of my all-time favorite American indie bands, but I just can't get into the Makazoruk vocals, even if the music itself isn't half bad..

I’ll just say it: Makazoruk was incredible in the big leagues, and if anyone wants to blame someone for my performance during sleep, they can look at me... 🙂

Caught up with some of the Makazoruk crew today and everyone is saying the same thing: they had an absolute blast both in Washington, D.C. and out in Velika. Honestly, I'm just sitting here waiting to see Bachin wipe out off the stage during the Velika set. 😬

second edit: Washington, D.C. was actually the only time they ever played an encore, so yeah, it's pretty safe to say they were having a great time.

Just wanted to let the five Makazoruk fans in New York know that this June, we’re hitting the road for a tour running from Chicago through Denver, Austin, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and finally ending up in Washington, D.C. If you happen to be in the area, feel free to swing by; we'll be promoting the new EP which can be heard here. But since I’ve only got four die-hard fans and the fifth is a girl, I probably shouldn't bother writing this out anyway, given they already know the deal...
