I missed LaliΔ‡'s latest piece. I couldn't manage to find a backup anywhere. I wonder, am I really the only one left who's a fan of zvonak? 😁

Nicholas Perez33 said:Man, they're absolute garbage. I didn't even bother making a backup of their stuff. Why am I the only one who actually likes Lucky Strike?😁

Because every terrible band manages to find exactly one fan, and apparently, the universe had to make sure that rule applied here too.β˜• 😬
Two fans would actually be giving them way too much credit, especially since they still sound just as bad as they did when I had the misfortune of seeing them play at a dive bar in Philly years ago...

Joe, I'm a fan of Lucky Strike myself. 😍

I've even got the original CD. πŸ₯³

Big thanks to everyone who made it out to the concert yesterday, and a huge shoutout to those who wanted to be there but couldn't make it happen. You guys are the best.

It just hit me. He could honestly release a live album titled *Concert*, just so the tour poster can say, "A concert by the artist performing the *Concert* concert to promote the live album *Concert*." 😬
Anyway, just ignore me. 😳

I was there, and honestly... it was alright. But let me reiterateβ€”Buck really needs to invest in a decent double bass. πŸ™‚ And seriously, maybe pick a more professional stage name next time, something along the lines of Orlan Tus and the Orchestra... 😬

😍

So how was it? Total silence here. Did you guys kill the crowd or what? 😬

I thought it was a great time. A few more gigs on the calendar would really take things to the next level, though. Then again, I was actually playing on stage, so I might be a little biased. I’ll have to have a chat with Joe about the upright bass, haha.

So... how was it? It’s been suspiciously quiet on this threadβ€”did you guys somehow manage to alienate the entire audience? 😬

It felt somewhat akin to a sober Arsen DediΔ‡ performing in some dark, moody noir cabaret... though honestly, Orlan Tus probably needs to start the set with a heavy pour of something strong. 😁

😱
Trying to wrap my head around a sober Arsen Dedić...
Does that even exist in this universe? πŸ€”

Nah.
Thank God.

vatrsoalv is quite subjective.

It was pleasant enoughβ€”ten minutes of pure wonder, followed by ten minutes of being absolutely fantastic, though it did drag a bit toward the end.

al tonight we are on our own which is an absolute smash😍

+ I nearly died when that sudden commotion startedβ€”I actually ran over, only to realize it was just someone playing around with a synthesizer, so I felt much better after that.😬

Yeah, people were definitely talking. Haha. But honestly, sound quality is always a hit or miss. I can't even remember the last time anyone was actually satisfied with the audio at a concert. It’s just like a band's nameβ€”everyone has an opinion on it. And get this! Some people don't even like the music we play! Haha. At the end of the day, you just have to keep grinding and getting better. Voila! Cheers.

I had a wonderful time, though I have to say, the audience was incredibly grating. It felt like the louder the "concert" became, the more they thought it was their cue to start chatting over everything. 😠 πŸ™‚
In my opinion, the sound levels were all wrong; the violin needed much more presence and the backing vocals should have been boosted significantly. Specifically during Majda’s part: ...who gave you to me...β€”it was absolutely stunning. 😍 "Tonight we are alone" is a definitive standout alongside "The Storm," and honestly, Orlan Tus could probably start drinking after a set like that. 😬

I’m satisfied overall, and I just hope we don't have to wait another entire year for the next show. πŸ˜‰

I was just chilling on my couch with a cold beer right in front of me, and man, life was good. Though, honestly, I think this bandβ€”hopefully they don't stick with this ridiculous nameβ€”is the kind of group you only truly "get" once everything at home settles down, you know? Like, once you’ve actually sat with their sound, let it sink in, and really discover them. That’s why I’ve been spinning this CD nonstop lately; it just keeps getting better every single time, even when I’m totally wiped out or just not in the mood for anything, or when it’s pouring rain outside or... well, basically, they're a genius band. I'd go as far as to say πŸ‘

and seriously, when Majda hits those vocals... it’s just unreal 😍
